The Northern Archaic Tradition is a cultural entity defined within the American northwest Arctic dating from approximately 4600 BC to 2200 BC (Anderson 1984).

Schoenberg (1995) argues that an intermediary Brooks Range Tradition separates the Northern Archaic Tradition and the preceding Paleoarctic Tradition, exhibiting technological signatures of each.
